Kay Katie Blennerhassett (Odell)

Kay 'Katie' Blennerhassett Odell passed away November 29, 1998 after her 14-year fight against cancer. Her joys in life included golf, skiing, RVing, motorcyle touring; her two grandchildren, and all her friends. The High Priority Breast Cance Awareness Group was the focus of her fight against cancer.

Survived by her husband of 43 years, Francis (Digger); two sons, John (SPHS '68) and Craig (SPHS '69); daughter-in-law Nancy: grandchildren Kelly and Ryan; and sister, Cessie Blennerhassett Barbour (SPHS 53). After rasing their family in South Pasadena, Katie and Digger moved to Newport Beach in 1974. Katie, an active member of St Mark's Presbyterian Church and the Newport Beach Country Club. 

Katie will be missed by millions of friends for her kindness and total zest for life.
