Barlow Bowen

Los Angeles - A complaint charging Robert Harrington, 20, with murdering Barlow V Bowen, Claremont College post-graduate student, was issued by the district attorney today and an inquest was set for Monday.

The complaint was issued after police detective Harry Fremont told district attorney's investigators Harrington had admitted he stabbed Bowen to death in a fight during a wine drinking session in Bowen's room at a Claremont hostelry. An autopsy showed, authorities said, that Bowen was stabbed 20 times, once through the heart.
