Virginia Brooks Grady, born in Pasadena April 19, 1917, died peacefully January 25, 2002. A San Marino resident for 72 years, she attended South Pasadena High School, Mills College, and graduated from Stanford University. She was active for many years in the St Edmund's Altar Guild, the Friends of the San Marino Library, and the American Red Cross.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Hughes; three children, Chris (Gretchen) of Seattle, Washington, Kathy Covell of Breckenridge, Colorado, and Jayne Grady-Reitan (Scott) of Mission Viejo, and eight grandchildren.
