Frank M Mayo

Frank MacDonald 'Don' Mayo, 85, died December 25, 2003 at Magnolia Rehab and Nursing Center in Riverside. Born in Oakland on March 13, 1918, Mr. Mayo lived in Mira Loma 15 years. Previously he lived in Hemet 17 years and Norco eight years. He was a business manager for United Stores Inc. seven years.

Mr. Mayo served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army during World War II. He attended the University of Idaho. Mr. Mayo was a member of San Jacinto Masonic Lodge 338, American Legion Post 53 and volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America in Hemet.

He is survived by two sons, Robert Farnum of Idaho and Herbert of Riverside; two daughters, Donna Chidester of Washington and Tonya Schneider of Fountain Valley; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
