Connie Walbridge Payne passed away April 4, 2003.  She was born September 27, 1920 to Myra Edna Walbridge and Ralph Walbridge in Porterville, California.  She spent her early childhood in Santa Barbara and later moved to South Pasadena where she completed her high school years.  She went to the University of Oregon where she met her husband of 64 years, Gleesor Payne, also known as Tiger.  They were soon blessed with daughters, Lesley Ann and Nancy Lee.

Always a gracious hostess, she loved to entertain, dance, and enjoy the company of her wonderful friends.  Even though Connie's life experienced some tragic times, she remained an optimist and looked at life's possibilities not its impossibilities.  She enriched many lives with her engaging personality and wonderful wit.  We will continue to love and embrace her memory as wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
