Victor 'Vic' Wallace

Victor Wallace passed away on November 11, 1999, in Austin, Texas.  Vic was a 40-year resident of Apple Valley, Texas.  He was a proud P-38 pilot in WW II and became a respected plumbing contractor in the area.  He was appointed Honorary Mayor of Apple Valley in 1966-67.  He served 10 years as a fire commissioner in Apple Valley and was Lions Club President 1959-1960.

He moved to Lago Vista, Texas to be close to his family in 1991.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Josephine Misterly Wallace '39; his daughter Vickie Bain, his son Don Wallace; brothers Chet and Ross; and four grandchildren.  He was able to see his sixth great-grandchild born just four weeks prior to his death.
