Oakland, California:  "Graduated from Cal. Married Liz (from Pacific Grove). Served in the Navy during World War II. Worked on newspaper in Eureka and did PR for an Association before joining Kaiser Aluminum in Oakland. Left to join Clorox in 1975. Am president of the Company Foundation. We have three boys - Dave, Andy, and Alec (who is still in high school). Six - count 'em - six grandchildren!"
