 Delbert C Gambill, 78 of La Jolla, California, died August 3, 2005. He was born in Oak Park, Illinois and was an executive recruiter for various corporations. He served in the Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Gambill; daughters, Wendy Sheldon of Beaverton, Oregon and Cindy Kornhaber of Dana Point; sons David Gambill of Newport Beach, Brad Sessions of Rancho Bernardo, and Scott Sessions of Grand Junction, Colorado; brothers Robert Gambill (SPHS '45) of Carmel and Denny Gambill of Paradise Valley, Arizona; and seven grandchildren.

Del Gambill and his brother Bob, and Tom Frost and I played tennis together at Tom's place in Pasadenamany years ago. It was great fun.
