Dennis E Mooney

Dennis Mooney  '52  passed away March 13, 2003 in Bullhead City, Arizona.  Dennis was born in Los Angeles on August 27, 1934.  He was raised in South Pasadena and attended grade school through high school in South Pasadena.

Dennis was a hunting guide in Alaska, worked at the atomic bomb site in Amchitka, worked on the North Slope and also worked the pipeline in Valdez, Alaska.  Dennis moved to Alaska in 1961 and joined the Alaska Teamsters.  He retired in his early 50s.

He married Patricia Hargraves '56 in 1969.  Dennis and Pat lived in Alaska for over 25 years then moved to Arizona.  They also had a home in the Antelope Valley in California. 

Dennis is survived by wife, Patricia Hargraves Mooney '56; daughters Denise (Kenneth) Adams, Kathleen (Jerry) Holbert, JoAnn (Kenny) Soder; eight grandchildren; brothers Kenneth Mooney '40 (Jean), Bob Mooney '48 (Barbara); sisters Louise Atkinson, Margaret Mooney Becker '47 (Mike) and Doris Pointer '43.
