Rock Gillette '59 age 65, died Friday, October 12, 2007, at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown, Pennsylvania.
Born in California, he has been a resident of Bristol Township for the past 15 years. Mr. Gillette was a graduate of of the U.S. Naval Academy, where he played center for Roger Staubach on the Navy Football Team, and was a Navy Seal. Rock was founder and owner of National Lift Equipment of Pennsylvania, located in Bristol Borough. He was a past Junior Governor and lifetime member of Bristol Moose Lodge No. 1169. He was also a member of St. Ann's Athletic Association, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the Bristol Elks Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Patti Gillette, three sons; two daughters; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two brothers; and many "adopted children."
