Leonora Talbott (Adams) - Class Of 1927

Leonora Talbott Adams, 77, a former employee of the State Department and the Central Intelligence Agency, died of congestive heart failure December 9, 1988 at her home in Annapolis.

Mrs. Adams, a California native who had lived in Annapolis since 1972, came to the Washington area during World War II.  During that period, she served in the WAVES and attained the rank of lieutenant commander.  After the war, she became a secretary with the State Department and served with the Foreign Service in Bulgaria and the Far East.  During the 1950s, she was a CIA intelligence officer.

Her husband, Donald T. Adams, who had been a Coast Guard captain, died in 1962.  She leaves no immediate survivors.
