Charles Nolan Beyrle Jr

Charles Nolan Beyrle Jr., 38, drilling foreman for the Standard Oil Company of California operations in the Swanson River field, Fairbanks, Alaska, was killed in an automobile accident on January 10, 1961.

Standard officials said Beyrle was driving a company car on the field’s main road when he rounded a curve and struck a large earth moving machine working in the road.
