Jean Frederick Ducommun, born February 28, 1931 in Alhambra, California, died June 11, 2012 in Novato, California. 

Dad rests in peace in the afterlife, having left a body racked by Parkinson's disease. We are grateful for his having given us life, for wonderful camping trips to mountains and deserts, for his sense of humor and love of cats.

He is survived by loyal companion, Maureen Ahsani of Novato; sailing buddies Ben and Diana Landis, and Lennart Anderson; caring ex-wife, Carol Ducommun. His daughters Nicolette Ducommun of Seattle, Washington; Alethea Clark of Sammamish, Washington; Carisa Iezza of Thousand Oaks; and Laureen McAndrew of Napa, remember dad with love and affection.
