Betty Jean born July 22, 1922, died February 7, 2011 from cardio-pulmonary complications while living in Aurora, Colorado.

In her growing up years, Betty attended nearby Marengo School, SPJHS, SPSMHS, then on to Pasadena Junior College in preparation for entering UC-San Francisco School of Nursing, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 1945.  Her nursing career included becoming the Head Nurse of the private ward at UCSF Hospital after graduation, followed by positions at the Veteran's Hospital in Long Beach and Wadsworth VA Hospital in Westwood, retiring in 1986 as Assistant Chief of Nursing Services.  She chose to move to Colorado in 1994 to be near her brother and family.

She is survived by her brother, Jim Hill (Class of 1949) and family.
