Richard Donald Long, 84, died July 21, 2005 in Temecula, California. Born February 1, 1921, Richard served in the US Navy during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Marguerite Long of Temecula; daughters Lisa (David) Murphy and Lydia (Michael) O'Leary of Temecula, and Leonora Long of Pennsylvania; brother Robert E Long (SPHS '44) of La Canada; sister, Betty Flippen (SPHS '47), and grandchildren, Patrick, Jonathan, Sean, Jeremiah, and McKenna.
