Ursula McLaughlin (Hanson) - Class Of 1951

Ursula K. Hanson, age 78, was born October 6, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio.  She passed away September 7, 2012 in Covina, California.  She was a wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was also a Girl Scout Leader, camp organizer, bingo player, bunco player, bowler, bridge player, bourbon drinker, and inventor of chocolate chip brownies.

She is survived by sons, Don Hanson, Chuck Hanson, and Ken Hanson; daughters, Sherrie Williams, Kerrie Dennis, Jerrie Foss, Allison Hanson, and Joy Zarate-Hanson; and nine grandchildren.  She is also survived by siblings Veronica McLaughlin (SPHS '52), Donald McLaughlin (SPHS '50), and Neal McLaughlin (SPHS '49).  She was preceded in death by husband Donald Hanson and son Scott Hanson.
