Rollie Myers, born July 15, 1924, passed away in Berkeley, California on September 12, 2016, at age 92, of heart failure.

Rollie received his BS from Cal Tech in 1947, followed by an MS in 1948. He earned his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley in 1951. He was an expert in radio and microwave spectroscopy, and up until his death, he was an active member of the American Chemical Society. 

He married Sylvia Harckstark in 1950 and had two children, Adele and Keith.  Sylvia passed away in 1988. Rollie had a caring and jovial nature and will be deeply missed.
