Beatrice Lucille Pearson - Class Of 1938

Beautiful and talented performer mainly known for her stage work, including a four-year run in the Broadway production of "The Voice of the Turtle". Among her few films were "Force of Evil" with John Garfield in 1948, and the controversial, landmark "Lost Boundaries," were she played a light-skin African-American woman passing for white, opposite Mel Ferrer in 1949.

Born July 27, 1920 in Denison, Texas, she died in February 1986 while living in Ruby, New York.
