Marcus Edmond Peterson (February 12, 1922 - August 9, 2010), resident of Pleasanton, California.   Born in Oakland to Marcus and Dorothy Peterson. 

Marc graduated from UC Berkeley, taught high school, and wrote Western stories.  Never married, Marc helped raise his sister's children.  Retiring in 1979, he moved to Pleasanton, where he remained until his passing.

Marc is predeceased by his parents and is survived by his sister, Hathily Peterson Johnson (SPHS '42); her children:  Walt (and Pam) Johnson, Marc Johnson, Hathi Winston (and Jerry Prettyman), and Chris (and Lori) Johnson; and seven great-nephews and -nieces.
