Leona B Prescott

Leona B Prescott was born April 28, 1916, in Los Angeles, the daughter of Warren and Mabel Bent Prescott. She was raised in South Pasadena where she graduated from high school. She graduated from college in San Diego and attended physical therapy school. She served in the Army as a physical therapist during World War II. She attained the rank of major before retiring from the military in 1962. She then moved to Sheridan, Oregon.

Miss Prescott worked in a veterinarian's office in McMinnville for many years. She enjoyed raising purebred Irish Setters and also liked the outdoors, especially the Oregon Coast.

She is survived by a sister, Priscilla Prescott Jeffries (SPHS '43) of El Monte, California.
