Frances Reimers Lancaster born on December 31, 1917 in Frankfurt, Kentucky, died on January 3, 2008.  Mrs. Lancaster moved to South Pasadena with her family in the 30s.  She lived in San Marino and Pasadena, spending her last nine years at Villa Gardens.

A member of the Valley Hunt Club and Annandale Golf Club, Mrs. Lancaster was a supporter of the Pasadena Garden Club and Children's Hospital.  She was an associate at B.K. Stephenson Realty Co. for over 30 years.  She is survived by her daughter Susan Van Note of Chevy Chase, Maryland, son Rob Shaffer of Pacific Palisades, California, and brother Milton Reimers ’38 of Del Mar, California, and four grandchildren.
