In sum: Clergy (pastor) 1976-1992; College teacher 1992-2000; Therapist 2000-present. I have been doing domestic violence batterer intervention groups since 1998. I also do individual's and couples therapy.

Humboldt County 12/72-11/73; Pasadena 11/73-6/76; Oregon 7/76-6/81; Santa Cruz 7/81-6/87; Oregon 7/87-present. We (i.e. my family) have moved a few times throughout the years, of course! My wife and I have lived in the same house for 18 years. We just bought a 9-acre farm nearby that we expect to build a larger house on in the next year or two: hopefully we will semi-retire there (viz,not move again!).

Grew up in Highland Park. Moved to extreme rural So.Cal. ranch in 7th grade. Moved back to So.Pas area for 9th grade. Lived in So.Pas through high school grad.(1972). Brother Jan graduated 1971. My mom lived there until 1984 when she retired early with illness. No family lives "down there" now.

My 2 oldest brothers went elsewhere. My brother Jan graduated 1971; then me in 1972: that's it!

Oh boy! (not all actually graduated) Carole Standish (Mora), Beverly Gray, Linda Stifle, Sue Dice, Vickie Stratton-Russell, Debbie Fallon-Hodgson, Veronica Arriagada, Rocky Santoro, Derek Broussard, Dale Baker, Sandra Baker et al. (all 1971-1973 grads).

I really didn't participate in any high school organizations. I've been involved in religious organizations quite a bit, but the last 10-plus years I have identified more and worked more in mental health settings. I am a unique blend of training, attributes and skills. I like to help people utilizing these attributes.

My high school epiphanies were drug-induced, I'm sorry to say. Simply graduating was a milestone!

Was that "...times?" Not much time usually but I collect and transfer vinyl record albums, have a great library--particularly in theology, philosophy, psychology and counseling; I've done martial arts off-and-on; I have a convertible sports car, I recently bought a motorcycle; I still play guitar and occasionally perform; I like gems and knives.

Too many to list really. I am partial to folk music and rock from our high school years. I also have and collect "Jesus rock" ca.1970-1980's.

"Favorites" ha! I'll have to give it thought. I have a large library--went to school for about 12 years--8 of that grad schools. Prefer academic stuff. Love C.S. Lewis and Tolkien (before it was popular). Movies? How do you answer that! I love animation, but chiefly the older, hand-done work. Check my Facebook for more details.

In a filbert nut-shell (our farm has 3 1/2 acres of filberts--hazel nuts to many) the farm purchase is a big deal and many years of searching for something close by, appealing, and financiable. We have custody of our grandson who is just recently 9 years old. Our children live near-by. Our daughter (27) may get her son back before too long. Our son (30) just bought a nice house and is a pharm tech. Shirley, my wife of 32 yrs works for Peace Health as editor and manager of organizational integrity which covers education and communications regarding policies, laws etc. for all (1,200) medical and related staff. I recently changed agencies but am doing the same work essentially, which is group therapy.(4/2010)
