Coe Ellen Nelson Reeves of Houston, Texas passed away August 14, 2014. Coe was born in 
Chicago, Illinois on October 15, 1936, to parents Martin and Mildred Coe Nelson. She attended college at the University of Southern California. Throughout her life, Coe continued her education with countless classes at several local colleges including The Women's Institute and Rice University.

Coe was passionate about fishing and being outdoors. She enjoyed spending time with many friends and family at their beach house in Galveston, Texas. Coe is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Jack Reeves; sons Blain Reeves and wife Tracy, Bryce Reeves and wife Anne; daughters Kendall Reeves and Kelly Reeves; two grandchildren; and loyal dogs Ellie and Winston.
