John Braxton Houston, age 77, passed away on December 1, 2015 in Florence, Alabama.

John was born May 10, 1938 to Robert and Elbeth Houston in Los Angeles. He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, working on computers and being on his Ham Radio. John is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Houston and brother, David Houston (SPHS '57. He is survived by his daughter Carolyn Coleman (SPHS '80), daughter, Teresa (David) Cameron (SPHS '81), daughter, Kathleen (Jack) Stensgaard (SPHS '85); son, John B Houston, son Thomas Houston (SPHS '94); brother Michael Houston (SPHS '53), sister Meridel (Tom) Houston (SPHS '54); and 10 grandchildren.
