Died at age 79 in Jurupa Valley, California. Survived by his wife Helen, daughter Vicki and son Gregory, five grandchildren; and brother, Ted Rhodes '61.

Joined US Air Force 1959 - youngest flying crew chief on B-52 Bombers. 1960 severe head injury on flight line; honorably discharged. Started college 1961 Married Helen Scales 1963 Graduated Glendale College. Entered Cal State LA. 1965 graduated Cal State LA with Masters. Began teaching 1967 Entered USC School of Education 1968 Gregory was born 1969 Kaiser Designed Facilities to design school buildings 1970 Graduated School of Education USC M. Ed. 1971 President, Rhodes, Bishop & Assoc. Design Collaborative 1973 President of a second corp. Design Collaborative Press 1974 Assistant Professor, Ohlone College, Fremont, California 1981 Instructional Designer, Rockwell International on B-1B Bomber 1985 Instructional Designer/Manager of Training Administration Northrop Grumman Corp B-2A bomber 1987 Design Editor B-2A bomber curriculum.

Frank had an enjoyable, varying and interesting life. He had a diversified career and life with not many dull moments. Being a husband, father and grandfather was the highlight of his life and we all miss him greatly. He was a kind and generous man.
