Olive Tyler was born October 1, 1931 and married Gene Elwell in September 1953.  Ollie stayed close to the city that she loved; venturing out to Arcadia for a couple of years before moving back to South Pas.

She had four children:  Steve Elwell (SPHS '72), Paul Elwell (SPHS '75), Laura Elwell (SPHS '76), and Linda Elwell (SPHS '78).  Ollie passed away April 24, 1967 at age 35.
