Gloria, devoted wife of Richard Evans (SPHS '43), loving mother of Brad (Denise) Evans and Carolyn (Dick) Gaines, grandmother of Suzanne Evans and sister of Alan Gillmore of Santa Rosa, passed away March 18, 2015 at the age of 87. Gloria was born June 4, 1927 in Pasadena and lived her early life in Altadena. She attended Elliot Junior High, South Pasadena High School and graduated from Pasadena Junior College with an Associates of Arts degree.

After her marriage in 1949 to Richard they eventually moved to Manhattan Beach where she was very active with the Children's Hospital South Bay Auxiliary Thrift Shop. After retirement, she spent her time between the beach and South Pasadena and was a docent at the Huntington Library Art Gallery and Botanical Gardens.

Gloria will be deeply missed by her husband and her family.
