~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It is with tears & broken hearts, our family must announce the passing of Jeff Cordell.
Jeff gave Renal (kidney) Cancer a valiant fight for 7 yrs. We thought we had won the battle but earlier this year the cancer once again, more aggressively, reared it's ugly head.
Jeff was comfortably at his home in San Antonio, Texas surrounded by his family when God gently enveloped Jeff into His loving arms and carried him Home.
With Jeff's passing, he leaves behind...his loving family. His wife Jenny, 2 sons- Reece Cordell (US Army-Germany), Case Cordell (Susanville, Ca), his mother Lois (Temple City, Ca), his older brother Mike (San Gabriel, Ca), his father Gordon (Sun City Az.), step-daughter Kimberly Licea (San Antonio, Tx), younger sister Pam (deceased), and many more family & friends who will continue to love him dearly
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A Memorial Service celebrating Jeff's life will be held at Jeff's church in San Antonio on Saturday August 6, 2011

As per Jeff's wishes, he will lovingly be returned to California by his brother Mike and his ashes will be privately scattered in the Los Angeles Nat'l Forest where Jeff loved to hike with his big brother.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Though our hearts are breaking, we know Jeff is now resting in peace with no more pain, and enjoying the company, once again of his loving little sister Pam whom he missed terribly
Jeff's legacy and the wonderful memories he left with us will live on in our hearts forever
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Thank you everyone for your kind words, loving thoughts and sincere prayers & condolences. We know sorrow is a fleeting emotion but our love for Jeff is infinite. We will always hang onto our memories and let them guide us through this very difficult time in our lives.

Most Sincerely...The Cordell family
