I knew Dan through Jr. High, High School, and into college.  He was ALWAYS such a nice guy.  In high school he would sit in the football stadium right in front of me each week, as he was in the band.  My assigned seat (Tigerettes) was right behind him.  I have many memories of him, but one that still brings a smile to my face was when he would copy whatever hand routines we did to a cheer, as though he was a Tigerette as well.  I lost track of him in college, but have fond memories of him.  Condolences to his family and friends.

Just found out about Dans passing. We were friends since jr high, We did a civil war project together for Mr. Koseck,s class. He got me on swim team which led to my seven summers as an L.A. county lifeguard. We would ride double on my motorcycle down to his Dads boat and go sailing, After graduation he was getting a pilots license and would take me flying to put in hours, When he went to Cal Poly San Luis Obisbo, where he later taught , He showed me around ,snuck me into cafeteria to share his meal with me.I had no money. We chased girls on Colorado blvd, in my sports car and would sneek into the seperate girls dorms at cal poly. We had help from the inside. He told me of his adventures in Antartica on a coast guard cutter. And the horendous  day off LAX when an airliner crashed at sea and he was the crew chief on the first heliocopter to arrive on scene. Last saw him at the 20 year reunion and slowly lost touch. What a guy , What a loss.
