Bob was one of my close friends. We both had electronics as our hobby. His father worked at JPL and brought home lots of electronic components in discarded JPL projects for us to use for our hobby projects. He became a Phd in physics like his dad, and married a woman named Marilyn, like his dad. It's my understanding that he relocatd to Hawaii some time ago at his retirement. He was a good guy. I just heard of his passing.
