Joel H Fonnesbeck, beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away July 13, 2016 in Kingston, Washington. He was born July 30, 1963 in Logan, Utah, to Mel and Linda Beveridge Fonnesbeck. He grew up in South Pasadena and graduated from South Pasadena High School and University of California Santa Cruz. 

Joel participated in track and baseball and remained an avid baseball fan. He enjoyed close longtime friends throughout his life. He was a voracious reader and loved the years he worked at Fowler Brothers Bookstore in Los Angeles. Joel enjoyed fishing with his friends and family in the lakes of Southern Utah. He married Seanann Card in 1997. They made their home in Kingston, Washington. He worked for AT&T wireless. 

Joel is survived by his wife, Seanann; his mother, Linda; two brothers Dustin (SPHS '89) and his wife Angie and nephew Dixon of Logan, Utah; and Chad of Cedar City, Utah. He was preceded in death by his father.
