Robert H Mooney

Robert H Mooney passed peacefully September 10, 2016 in Redlands, California, following a brief illness. Born September 13, 1929 in Allentown, Pennsylvania to Charles and Anita Mooney. The family moved to Los Angeles when Bob was still a child. He proudly served in the US Navy from 1948 to 1952 when he was honorably discharged. After leaving the military Bob joined his father's business, Circle Alarm, and ran the Los Angeles based company for over 50 years. He was an active member of the Pasadena Elks Lodge #672 for 54 years, serving as Exalted Ruler in 1979, State Vice President in 1984, and District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler in 1986. Bob was an avid bowler with one perfect game under his belt.

Nothing brought Bob greater happiness than his family. He is survived by his son David (Sue), daughter Debra, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Margaret (SPHS '47) and his wife of 42 years, Barbara. His soul has been reunited with his beloved son Craig who passed in 2000. He is also preceded in death by his parents and six siblings. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
