William Ralph Dewar, 90, of Jamestown, died December 19, 1992 at Sonora Community Hospital in Sonora.

Mr. Dewar was a native of Indianpolis, Indiana.  He lived in Escondido from 1949 to 1978 and then retired to Jamestown.  He was a retired shop personnel supervisor and worked in civil service for the U.S. Navy for 29 years.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
