February 25, 1934 - July 21, 2023

My cousin, Mary Susan Kyropoulos who was in the class of 1951, passed in her a beloved home on Mill Road in South Pasadena. This is a brief bio of Susie's life she wrote for the Stanford Alumni Association.

"I have been asked to send in a bio - something that I have never done in the past. So, after graduation from Stanford, I spent a year working in San Francisco then returned to my hometown of South Pasadena and have been there ever since. I was accepted to Claremont Graduate School on a Ford Foundation Scholarship and earned a teaching certificate. I taught school in Pasadena for almost two decades then returned to graduate school at UCLA and earned a Library Science degree. I finished my working career as a librarian in a private school.

At the same time, I learned to play the viola and have played in an orchestra for many years. I have spent a few years living, traveling, and studying in Europe. I enjoy gardening and reading, of course. My years of retirement have been filled with a variety of other activities including the pleasure of having had several Scottie dogs. Life is good. Best regards to you, old friends!"
