December 15, 1953 - June 2, 2021

Kim of Monrovia, California, died at age 67 due to COPD. He is survived by his wife Marcea Schirmeister Pardus '74; daughter Sara Pardus Jones '02, son Kyle Pardus '05; and sister Debby Pardus Bergherm '73.

Kim was friendly and kind hearted, and well known by his classmates. He played on the 1971 CIF football team and represented South Pasadena with his sense of fair play and sportsmanship. He was an awesome husband, father, and friend. He will be missed by his family and by the many people his big-hearted caring touched. A life well lived.

Mark Tanner (1972)

Kim was a good person.  I remember completing against him in Little League baseball.  He was the sidearm pitcher that intimidated a lot of players.  

Always very kind to everyone.
