Sally 'Jodie' Sevitz Peake

January 2, 1938 - April 11, 2022

"I started using my nickname 'Jodie' when I graduated from high school and have been Jodie Peake since then. After high school, I went to USC where I graduated with a BS in Business Administration.  I am happily married to a retired salesman, have four sons and three grandchildren. The majority of my career has been in the area of social work, although I sold business equipment for General Binding Corporation for 5 1/2 years. My husband and I were Family Teachers at Father Flanagan's Boys' Town in Omaha, Nebraska. I have been employed as a social worker for the State of Oregon for 16 years. In 1999, I was one of five child protective service social workers recognized by the Attorney General on behalf of the abused and neglected children of Oregon. In 2003, we bought a 90-year-old bungalow in a coastal community in Oregon where we are playing and enjoying our golden years."
