Dorothy Follansbee Hirdler

August 3, 1931 - December 28, 2015

Born in Los Angeles to Dorothy and George Follansbee. Dorothy moved to San Marino in 1938 with her family. She attended San Marino schools and South Pasadena-San Marino High School. She went on to attend school at the University of Southern California, graduating with a degree in Dental Hygiene. That is where she met the love of her life, Max (Ted) Hirdler, Jr. They married in 1956 at Saint Edmund's in San Marino.

Dorothy and Ted raised their three children in San Marino; Cynthia Hirdler, Julie Ann Kramer (Donald) and Max (Ted) Hirdler III (Wendy). Dorothy also had three grandchildren. Throughout their lives together, Dorothy and Ted were active parishioners at San Marino Community Church. Dorothy is survived by all of her family, in addition to various cousins, nieces, and their families. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Joan Follansbee Sullivan '47.
