Harvey Arden Glaser

Harvey Glaser

April 14, 1928 - May 23, 2022

Harvey was born in St Louis and moved to Los Angeles when he was four years old. Living first in San Marino and later in Beverly Hills, where he fondly recalled watching the construction The Beverly Hilton from his family's home on Trenton Drive after graduating from USC. Harvey's passion for the law was boundless, and he was honored in 2013 by the Los Angeles County Bar Association and inducted into their "50 Year Club" for practicing law in Los Angeles for five decades.

Harvey is survived by his loving wife Marlene, his son Marc (Sharon) Schur, his son Paul J Schur of New York City, and two granddaughters. He is also survived by his sister Harriet Glaser Ephraim (SPHS '50), extended family and an abundance of friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Pearl Glaser.

Harvey was a kind soul, never hesitating to throw himself into passion projects that included his 'train room' where he worked for hours at a time on his N scale model trains. Anyone who knew Harvey was touched by his kindness and humor; he was truly a peacemaker and was always a source of positivity.
