Burton Goldberg

March 11, 1928 - October 11, 2022

Burton passed away in Baldwin Park at age 94. He was born in Los Angeles and the family moved to South Pasadena in 1937 where Burt attended Marengo Elementary, South Pasadena Junior High and graduated from South Pasadena High in 1946. He attended Pasadena Community College and Los Angeles Trade Tech.

During the Korean Conflict, Burt served in the Army in Germany. Burt married his wife Marion in 1953 and they moved to Alhambra where he lived for 68 years. Burt spent his working life as a highly trained automotive mechanic for auto dealers and independent auto facilities. His hobby was, of course, hopping up and customizing cars long before the auto industry decided to do it.
