Barbara Blackstone Martin, born on May 11, 1912 in Nanking, China, went home to be with the Lord on September 20, 2008 in Pasadena, California.

Barbara was the loving mother of Barbara Patterson, Walter B. Martin, Jr., and Stanley G. Martin.  She is also survived by grandchildren Scott and Eric Patterson, Kathryn and Grant Martin, and Claudia Guevara; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Beth Blackstone (SPHS '34).
