Her greatest love was music of all types from classical to rock and roll and country. As a young woman, she studied to be a classical pianist. Betty also had a great love of animals and supported many animal rights charities. Betty was predeceased by husband, Gordon B. Knoob, in 1997 and her son, Eric Merrill Knoob in 1986. She is survived by her daughters Patricia L. Knoob of Pacific Grove, Nancy Runyan and Catherine Dillon, both of Scottsdale, Arizona; her son, Earl Gordon Knoob, of Globe, Arizona; her granddaughter, Lauren Van Reusen, of Scottsdale, Arizona and her beloved caregiver, Maria Hernandez.
