William "Willie" Cooper passed away June 29, 1994 after a bout with cancer.  He was an outstanding athlete in both basketball and tennis for the orange and black.  Willie graduated from Claremont Men's College.

Willie's motto during his illness was, "You can never chain down a good slam-dunker."  Those are outstanding words from an outstanding Tiger.
