Betty Marie Carpenter, 71, of Anaheim, a librarian for the Anaheim City School District, died Ocober, 25, 1999, of multiple sclerosis. Survivors: husband, Duane; daughters, Roxanne Brooks, Iris Epp, Jan Lowe, Carmen Spencer; son, Matthew Brooks; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
