Mary Mooney (Bingham)

Mary Mooney Bingham  '49  was born April 14, 1931 to John Congdon Mooney and Margaret Kathryn Brennan.  She passed away Friday, May 28, 2004 at the Kensington Episcopal Home In Alhambra, California.

Mary, one of nine children, grew up in Alhambra and attended Ramona Convent High, South Pasadena-San Marino High School and Pasadena City College.  She raised her family in San Gabriel and was an active member of Church of Our Saviour and a choir member for 15 years.  While at Kensington, she was a member of Saint Stephen's Ministry. 

Mary worked in the area as a designer and artist and is well known for her unique style of costumes and hats, and her love of ice-skating.  She is survived by her three children, Terri (Bob) Grossklaus, Mark (Vickie), and Chris (Pam), six grandchildren; Carla, Kevin, and Angela Grossklaus; Mathew and Laura Bingham; and Elizabeth Bingham;  three sisters and three brothers.
