Retired Department of Motor Vehicles employee Kenneth Y Simpson, 58, died June 15, 1991 in Springfield, Missouri. Born April 11, 1933 in Pasadena, California, he was the registrar for the Anchorage Department of Motor Vehicles from 1970 to November 1990. Ken was also a member of the Alaska Peace Officers Association and the Elks Lodge. He moved to Lead Hill, Arkansas seven months ago.

Ken is survived by his wife, Bernice of Lead Hill; his daughters, Janet of Tempe, Arizona and Linda of Woodbridge, Virginia; stepson Jay Robinett of Anchorage and stepdaughter, Robin Robinett of Laguna Hills, California; half-sister Nancy Quinn of Arlington, Virginia; and two grandchildren.
