Ann Evans Heafey, 66 of Grover Beach, California, died August 26, 2002 at her residence.  Ann was born December 7, 1935 in Pasadena and attended Occidental College.

She was a homemaker and volunteered at the Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Auxiliary and with the AARP for tax counseling. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and was a member of the Garden Club of San Luis Obispo.

Ann is survived by her children, Ryan (Leticia) of Lemoore, California, Matthew (Margaret) Heafey of Oakland, and Alison Heafey of Oakland; sister Carol Evans of Oakland; and grandchildren, Winters Heafey, Edwin A Heafey III, and Holly Heafey.
