Joseph Ross Fopiano (known as Joe in Nevada and Ross in California by his family) born on December 4, 1931 in Oakland, California, passed away December 28, 2013, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2004, his cause of death was pneumonia.

Ross was very outgoing, kind, compassionate, and loved people. He excelled in motivational sales and trade shows. Ross was one of Jehovah's Witnesses, dedicating his life to educating others since 1967. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Lois Fopiano; his brother John Fopiano (SPHS '54); and daughter Melysa.  He is survived by his sister, Lois Fopiano (SPHS '55) and his loving and devoted wife for the past 50 years, Marilyn.
