Mae Grant Merideth, born August 31, 1914, passed away peacefully at her home in San Marino on March 10, 2013.  She was 98 years old and death was due to natural causes.

Mae is survived by her husband, Joe; son Grant and daughter-in-law Sharon, all of whom were present at the time of her passing.  Mae is also survived by her two granddaughters, Tami Olechno and Janie Cantos; as well as four great-grandchildren, Kelly Ikeda, Austin Merideth-Orosco, Ashley Merideth, and Kobe Cantos.  Mae was preceded in death by her parents Esther and Alex Grant and brothers Douglas (SPHS '34) and Frederick (SPHS '36) Grant.

Mae worked after high school and married Joe during World War II.  After the war she became a full time mother and housewife.  She spent many years volunteering at the San Marino public library as well as entertaining grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
