Nancy Thompson Stringer, born April 13, 1935, passed away peacefully at her home with her family at her side on June 17, 2013. Nancy was born and raised in Southern California. Until her passing, she was close friends with those she knew even from kindergarten. While going to South Pasadena-San Marino High School, she met her husband-to-be, Dan (SPHS '53).

Shortly after high school, she and Dan married and had two wonderful sons, Todd and Tyler. For almost twelve years, Nancy courageously fought multiple myeloma cancer with great resolve. She was blessed to live long enough to love and adore her grandson, Liam.

Her family and friends will remember her forthrightness and the fun she was. Goodbye Nance, we had fun.
