Patricia Phillips (Graham)

Patricia Phillips Graham, 89, of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, died in her sleep at her home on December 17, 2020. She was born May 22, 1931 in Hollywood, California, daughter of the late Clyde and Anne Smith Phillips. Pat graduated from South Pasadena High School in 1949 and then attended the University of Redlands, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in social work in May 1953. While attending the University of Redlands, Pat met the love of her life, George A Graham Jr. The two were wed in Alhambra in June 1953 and spent 66 years of marriage together before he preceded her in death in July 2019.

As an educator, Pat worked in various schools teaching early elementary, kindergarten, and first grade. She retired from Swallow Elementary in Hartland, Wisconsin in 1994. During retirement, George and Pat traveled extensively from their home in Delafield, Wisconsin. In 2014 they moved to Door County full time.

Pat had a heart of gold and always wanted to help those who needed it. While living in Delafield, she worked in hospice care. In Sturgeon Bay, she was a member of the PEO sisterhood and recently started to volunteer at the Door County Medical Center. Pat was also a member of the Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church. She loved her dogs and enjoyed walking them at the Crossroads at Big Creek. She especially loved spending time with her six grandsons who were the light of her life. Pat will be deeply missed by her children, G Andrew (Marion) Graham III of San Diego, Ronald Graham of Las Vegas, and Holly (Todd) Meikle of Sturgeon Bay; six grandsons; her beloved black lab, Bear; and many dear friends.
